Banana Cake Recipe | No-Oven, No-Egg Banana Bread Recipe

Whenever I upload a baking recipe the first question that is asked is whether we can make it without egg or not?. So today's recipe will be made without using any eggs. Sir, can you make it without any oven? yes, you can you can even make this in a kadhai. Sir will the ingredients be easily available at home. Yes, the ingredients are quite simple and they will definitely be available at your home also. Sir, can we make it using tawa? Sorry I cannot do that. I will show you how to cook it in a kadhai using salt. You can make an eggless banana cake with walnuts at your home with a kadhai. Super yum and super easy. For making banana bread we need to have ripe bananas and if you have overripe bananas then they will give the perfect result. The more ripe banana will be the sweeter it becomes. Now put the peeled bananas in the mixer grinder. There are wet and dry ingredients for this recipe which we will combine to make the batter.

First, we are going to prepare the wet ingredients. For the wet ingredients first, we will add banana then sugar, curd and oil into it. I am using refined oil because it does not give off any taste while it is being cooked. If you wish you can use melted butter instead of oil. This is vanilla extract and now we will grind it. And this is ready. You can really smell the bananas. And it is similar to a banana shake but try to avoid drinking it as it has uncooked oil in it. Now what you have to do is prepare all the dry ingredients and for that, I am sieving flour. Sieving the flour removes any clumps and also fluffs the flour. It will give a soft texture to the banana bread. This was a small trick which will be very useful for you in the future. While I am doing this I should tell you that there are many dishes which we think have come from Persia or some other country but bananas are indigenous to India, This means that bananas originated from India, were grown in India and it was spread throughout the world because of India. I thought of sharing this knowledge with everyone because foodie people like you and I love to know about this stuff. Now we have strained the flour.

In this, I'm going to add baking soda and baking powder. Baking soda will give it the first rise because the presence of curd and baking powder will give it the second rise while it is cooking in the oven. Because baking powder only reacts when it is heated up. With this, I am also adding cinnamon powder into it because cinnamon and banana go really well together. Now our dry and wet ingredients are ready. And we will just fold them together. Make sure you fold them lightly. During this, you will notice small bubbles. This only suggests that the batter has started to rise.

After mixing that we will add walnuts but it is totally optional. Mix it and the batter for banana bread is ready. Now we need a container, this is a loaf style container but if you have a circular or a square-shaped mould it also works.

Line it with butter paper. Now some people oil the butter paper as well which is not required because the only reason for using butter paper is so that the cake does not stick. I'm cutting bananas for garnish. And I'm also adding walnuts on the side for garnish.

Now there are two methods of cooking this first one is using an oven or an OTG. for that you need to preheat the oven for 10 to 15 minutes first, at 180 degrees Celsius and then cook the cake for 55 to 60 minutes. At the same temperature. Once it is ready cheer up.

The second option is to cook it in a kadhai. We will use a wide kadhai in that we are going to add salt it and we will also put a mould on it. We will have to heat up the salt for 10 to 15 mins on high heat. After that lower the heat and then put the cake tin on the mould and cover the kadhai cook this for around 1 hour. And after this banana bread is ready. Now we will carefully remove it and let it cool for a little while after which we will cut it. Yummy banana bread is done.
